Former England captain Kevin Pietersen has said goodbye to cricket on Saturday. Peterson paused his career with Twitter for four words-boots up, Thank You message. The 37-year-old Pietersen is away from international cricket since January 2014. Pietersen played a total of 104 Tests for England and his final Test was part of the Ashes series, in which England lost 0-5. South Africa-born Peterson scored 8181 runs at an average of 47.28 for England. They include 23 centuries and 35 half-centuries. In one-dayers, Pietersen scored 4440 runs in 136 innings. He is the captain of England in three Tests and 12 one-day internationals.
